We have a long history in our community, with roots going back over 70 years. Some of our customers remember coming to the Grange League Federation Farmers’ Co-op when goods were delivered to the store by rail. For years we’ve been known as Cobleskill Agway and it was in the early 1990’s that Scott Kelley came on board as store manager. Since 2000 we’ve been Kelley Farm & Garden, Inc.
We’re proud of our history and proud of the community that has been our customers, neighbors and friends. While agriculture continues to be an important industry in our community, we also have many customers who farm as a hobby and enjoy producing much of their own food. We cater to gardeners of all kinds, small livestock managers, pet owners and do-it-yourself-ers. With the addition of the True Value Hardware line and Just Ask Rental in 2008, we enhanced our offering to our customers with increased retail floor space, expanded lines and new service offerings. Recently we added a full-service lumber yard. We believe Cobleskill True Value / Agway is a very unique place to shop. We have the quality brands you trust and people you know who are happy to see you and ready to help. We like to think that when you shop at our store you’re not just buying quality products at a good price; you’re also dealing with knowledgeable people who want to help. Shop smart, shop local! If you can't find what you’re looking for (of if you’re not sure what you’re looking for) please ask! We’re happy to offer special order service on a large range of items that we may not keep in stock. It’s our pleasure to help! That’s just one of the reasons we expect to be here for many more seasons to come.
