Ration balancers are a low-feeding-rate, grain based, vitamin and mineral supplement for easy keepers, horses on pasture, metabolic horses, or horses that aren't being fed a complete feed at the recommended feeding rate. Generally, feeding rate for ration balancers are 1lb of feed per 1,000lb horse.
